Now, not to be altogether wary and paranoid about the digital age (referring to post about the “perils of digital age”), here’s a great use for virtuality!
Due to my busy busy thesis year, I cannot go all the way to Alabang to fit right in front of Mich Araullo anymore. (Mich made me a dress for this wedding I’m going to attend tomorrow. Ninang kasi ako, hahaha!) Travel time will surely eat much of what I have originally reserved for writing my thesis +++ papers, papers, readings galore. So…I asked Roger to pick up the dress from Alabang, bring it back to me, took pictures of myself in the dress using my wonderful tripod and...voila! Here now is what you call “fitting online.” Sent pics to Mich via email, and now my driver is on his way back to hand her the dress for repair!
P.S.
Just wanna add that fitting is still best done face-to-face or in person. I resorted to this one just because I am super pressed for time. Nonetheless, I would have gone all the way to Mich for fitting, and maybe even grab a few new dresses!
